What is the procedure for requesting permission from a publisher to use their work?

If/when you are confident you have exhausted all other options, such as finding links to material, you’re unable to create it yourself, we do not already have permission and Creative Commons material cannot be found, then you need to ask permission from copyright owners to use material.
When applying for copyright permissions from copyright owners, use the Request for Copyright Permission form linked to at the bottom of the page.
Remember, once permission has been granted from the copyright owner for you to use the material, it needs to be uploaded to the appropriate file in Content Manager. Linked Below:
Always label this material correctly, with any copyright notices and attributions.
E.g., ‘Used with permission – Basic Finish Learning, 2023.’
