How do I print, photocopy or scan?

MFDs (Multi-Function Devices) are available at all of our Campus Libraries for printing, copying and scanning. Please Note: NMT does not have wireless printing, so you need to log on to a college desktop computer in order to print.

Every student has a Printing/Photocopying account

You add credit to your printing/photocopying account online (see Add Printing Credit Online box below), or at the service desk at any Campus Library

  • Credit or Debit card is required
  • We are unable to process any tap and go options such as Apple Pay
  • We do not accept cash
  • Minimum payment is $2.00
  • A receipt will be sent to your student email
  • East Perth students please call Leederville Campus Library on 9202 4739 if you need assistance
  • McLarty and Clarkson students please call Joondalup Kendrew Campus Library on 9233 1005 if you need assistance

Charges for printing and photocopying are: 

Black and White

  • A4 = 20c (single sided) 30c (double sided)
  • A3 = 30c (single sided) 50c (double sided)

Colour

  • A4 = 50c (single sided) 70c (double sided)
  • A3 = 70c (single sided) $1.00 (double sided)

All NMT multifunction devices default to double sided to encourage sustainablity and to keep costs as low as possible. 

You can also use the MFD's to scan documents and send them to your student or staff email.

There is no charge for scanning.

Perth Campus Library also has a large scale printer (Printing only no scanning)

  • A2 = $2.00
  • A1 = $2.50
  • A0 = $3.00

Colour

  • A2 = $2.50
  • A1 = $3.00
  • A0 = $6.00

Media

  • Add Printing Credit Online

    Enter your Student ID and click the Submit button to access your North Metropolitan TAFE Print Account page. You will be required to enter the password for your Student ID
