How do I login to the Student Portal (CiAnywhere)?

Account Activation 

After completing your enrolment, it may take 24–48 hours for your account to become active across all online systems. 

Change Your Default Password 

Before accessing the Student Portal, you must change your default password using either: 

  • Microsoft 365 (student email), or 

  • A Student PC. 

If you have already changed your password on a college PC or with Library staff, use the new password you created. 

Logging into the Student Portal (CiAnywhere) 

  1. Go to the Student Portal login page. 

  1. Click Log in using Office 365

  1. Sign in with:  

  • Email: Your student email address (StudentIDNumber@tafe.wa.edu.au) 

  • Password: Your current TAFE password. 

  1. Do NOT select “Log on using your details”. 

Important: 
You must have set up Microsoft 365 Multi-Factor Authentication before logging into the portal. 

Complete Any Tasks 

Once logged in, you can: 

  • Access your results 

  • Re-enrol 

  • Update your details 

Check the My Tasks icon: 

  • If a red number appears, click it to view tasks requiring your attention. 

Password Expiry 

  • Your TAFE password expires every 6 months

  • Change it before it expires to avoid being locked out of all online systems. 

How to Change Your Password 

  • On a Student PC: Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE, then select Change a Password

  • In Microsoft 365: Click the Settings cog (top-right corner), then select Change your password

Password Requirements 

  • Minimum 14 characters. 

  • Any combination of letters and numbers. 

  • Cannot reuse previous passwords. 

  • Cannot include your first name, surname, or date of birth. 

Tip: Use words or phrases you will remember.
