How do I login to the Campus WiFi?
Answer
It may take up to 24-48 hours after completing your enrolment for your account to become active in all our online systems.
Before Connecting to Campus Wi-Fi
You must first activate your Microsoft 365 account.
Instructions for this setup are linked at the bottom of this FAQ.
Connect to NMT Wi-Fi
On Your Device
iOS - Settings > WiFi > NMT WiFi
Android - Settings > Network & Internet > WiFi > NMT WiFi
Windows - Click on the
WiFi logo on the bottom right hand corner of the screen and select NMT WiFi
MacOS - Click on the
WiFi logo on the Menu bar, and select NMT WiFi from the list
Login to NMT Wi-Fi
- The login page should appear automatically. If it doesn’t, from a web browser, go to neverssl.com to force it to load.
- Enter your details:
- Username: Your Student ID Number only.
- Password: Your current password - (Remember: You must change your default password first!)
Once logged in:
- You will stay connected for 90 days unless you change your password during this time.
- If you have issues connecting, take your device to your Campus Library for assistance..
Warning: If you are running a Bit Torrent when you try to log in to the WiFi your device will be quarantined and you will not be able to log in.
Password Expiry
- Your password expires every 6 months.
- Change it before it expires or you will be locked out of all online systems.
How to Change Your Password
- On a Student PC: Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE, then select Change a Password.
- In Microsoft 365: Click the Settings cog (top-right corner), then select Change your password.
Password Requirements
- Minimum 14 characters.
- Any combination of letters and numbers.
- Tip: Use words or phrases you will remember.
