How do I get a Student ID Card?

Once the semester has commenced, you can purchase a Student ID Card from any of our campus libraries for $10.00*.
After payment, your photo will be taken and immediately printed onto the card, along with your Student ID number. It can be updated each year by visiting a TAFE library and getting a new sticker.
- Student ID cards are optional; however, they are recommended for faster scanning, photocopying, and printing.
- Allows access to student discounts, acting as a proof of student concession (required for Tertiary SmartRider verification at Transperth employees’ request)
- If the card is lost and you want a replacement, you will be required to purchase a new one
*Note: Library staff can only take payment via a physical credit card. Cash and contactless payments can instead be made at client services.
